TOM is the leader of Tower Companies in Madagascar and the Indian Ocean. Our activities focus on the construction of telecommunication towers, accommodation of telecommunications equipment and the purchase of existing infrastructure.
We have an ambition to build more than 170 sites this year 2022 to exceed 1700 sites by the end of the year. A new site model has been developed to adapt to the customers needs with a specific offer. To continue to innovate, different types of camouflaged infrastructure are planned. In terms of social and environmental impact, we are implementing the biofuel project.
More than 130 sites are built, allowing us to reach 1500 sites. An inauguration of the 1500th site was organized in Antsahalava, a village in the region of Vakinankaratra. At the end of 2021, we have 1,550 sites. As part of the innovation of our infrastructures, a tree tower is installed. Towerco Of Madagascar is committed to social and environmental impact projects.
Whatever the impact of the global health crisis, we were able to continue our site deployments. Moreover, our service is part of the essential information and communication technology services. At the end of the year, more than 150 additional sites were built. The same year, it was an opportunity for one of our customers to renew their partnership.
Towerco Of Madagascar is maintaining the pace of site deployment not only to satisfy customers by meeting their latest generation technology needs, but also to support the country's development.
From the start of 2018, the 1,000 site was exceeded and we launched the construction of new sites to reach 1,150 sites by the end of the year. The same year, the takeover of sites in “Managed services” reinforces our assets and our presence as a reference Towerco.
TOM gets even closer to its customers and offers a more attractive flat rate by committing to a quality service in order to have more than 1,000 sites by the end of 2017.
TOM confirms its development with a contract to deploy over a hundred new sites for 2016. By the end of the year, TOM will have a pool of close to 1,000 sites.
Deployment of more than 150 new sites for extension of rural coverage and densification in urban areas. TOM finalizes a "Managed Services" contract for 400 new towers By the end of 2015, TOM had a fleet of over 800 sites.
After a strong growth in 2013, our momentum continues with the construction of more than a hundred new sites for our customers.
